HMLTD LOADED

Having retreated from the public eye for almost a year now, London's loveably loathsome HMLTD have shared a brutally honest new cut in 'Loaded'. Seemingly referencing their experience working with mammoth music moguls RCA, who signed the band early doors, front person Henry Spychalski spits 'Loaded's candid lyrics with a flamboyant flair that echoes some of Depeche Mode's camper tracks. Boasting an onslaught of unashamedly rocky guitar riffs set aside swampy electronics, 'Loaded' lurches ominously through the verses before bursting into a characteristically OTT chorus. True to form, the accompanying video is a lavish affair, which features some incredible styling courtesy of rising avant-garde stylist Daniel Goldman, who also makes an unforgettable appearance as a pvc-clad milk machine at the end of the clip. Arriving alongside the news of HMLTD's recent signing with Lucky Number, we're hoping that the band's elusive debut may finally see the light of day. Watch the video here now. -Holly Mullineaux
